When a message contains image content, the image is downloaded to your computer. You control which newsgroups to search and you can filter out unwanted images by using advanced filter settings. Optional advanced features let you filter your image search by using a variety of different methods. You can filter message subject text by keywords to allow or ignore certain images. You can filter images by width, hight, file size, and file extension to skip thumbnail images or large space wasting images. You can save your images in one main directory or you can build a directory tree for a visual guide to where each image came from. NIC gives you the ability to manage your images with ease and to preview them with the built in slide show. You can share your images with friends quickly by using the built in email wizard.
