Why is MidToMid making all that noise? Well, partly because of endorsement by Bono (U2) and Bon Jovi. Naturally, when these famed musicians chose a small indie conversion engine over heavy-weight titles with big advertisement budgets, the music industry media picked up the story. But the real reason why more and more musicians switch to MidToMid is its unique capabilities. For example, the program can perform partial conversions. This means that a user specifies a fragment of the file he or she needs to convert, presses one button, and that's it. There's no reason to convert the entire file and then cut out a desired fragment. MidToMid supports all popular MIDI file types - MIDI 0, MIDI 1, RIFF MIDI 0, RIFF MIDI 1 and MIDI Karaoke, offering a wide range of tweaking options.
