Pure Java Type 4 DBF JDBC(1.2, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0) driver packages for Xbase database (dbase, Visual DBASE, SIx Driver, SoftC, Codebase, Clipper, PowerPlus, Foxbase, Foxpro, VFP, xHarbour, Halcyon, Apollo, Goldmine, and BDE), which supports transaction, embedded access, client/server mode, and remote access. It supports Xbase applications' compatible lock ( DBASE, DBASE4BDE, DBASEIII, DBASEIV, CLIPPER, CLIPPER5.3, PowerPlus, SoftC, FOXBASE, FOXPRO, FOXPRO4BDE, and VFP). It supports MEM, FlexFile3, SIxMemo, DB2K, IDX, CDX, NDX, MDX, NTX, and CGP. It supports DBF, DBC, DCT,DCX, DBT, FPT, SMT, and user-defined extensions. It supports all transactions level of READ UNCOMMITTED,READ COMMITTED, REPEATABLE READ, and SERIALIZABLE. It supports concurrent database connections, and is thread safe. It supports embedded mode and remote access mode. It supports ANSI SQL 92 standard, more than 230 sql functions, XOPEN SQLState, RMI, Jini, JNDI, and serialization. The drivers are completely written in Java and can be deployed on any platform with Java VM, which includes Microsoft Windows, Novell Netware, Apple Mac OS, Solaris, OS2, UNIX, and LINUX. It supports Personal Java, JDK1.0.X, JDK1.1.X, JDK1.2.X, JDK1.3.X, JDK1.4.X, JDK1.5.X, and JDK1.6.X. It supports JDBC1.2, JDBC2.0, JDBC3.0, and JDBC4.0. It supports all of JVM's supported unicode, locales and encodings. Cp895(Czech MS - DOS 895), Cp620(Polish MS - DOS 620) and Mazovia are extra supported although JVM doesn't support those. It supports seamlessly files and directories in ZIP, BZ2, and TAR files in jdbc url and sql.
