Most portable buildings focus on the utility rather than the aesthetics of design. They are generally rectangular or cuboid with either flat or domed roofs and are usually made of either metal or some other tough material that can withstand weather variabilities. However, nowadays there is growing market for portable buildings that look more at home in their surroundings rather than being used purely for mere functionality. However the cost effectiveness is questionable because the price automatically rises when more features are added to the portable building. These are usually sensible houses with all the basic amenities including linoleum flooring, kitchen, solar powered heaters, proper bathrooms and internet and T.V connections. These make a great deal of sense in terms of choice when the location is not suitable for ordinary habitation.
