The album debuted at number eight on the Billboard chart and has since sold over 16 million copies worldwide; Lavigne released her second album in 2004 Under My Skin it has since sold over 8 million copies. In 2007 Lavigne s third album The Best Damn Thing, debuted at number one in the U.S. and has sold approximately five million copies. Lavigne moved into films in the animated movie Over the Hedge, she has since been in The Flock, Fast Food Nation and Going the Distance.
